Coopellanobonito has a room where their final product, café oro (the literal translation would be "golden coffee", meaning the unroasted beans), is tested for quality. Samples of coffee are roasted in small scale machines and tasted by a cooperative's specialist. They also roast, grind and pack small quantities of coffee to be sold at accessible prices to the producers. .Llano Bonito, León Cortés, San José State, Costa Rica..Photo: Eduardo Martino / 13.01.2009
